It's funny the first time I watched this scene, I thought she was just quickly de-robing to escape that conversation, but you can see that glance she gives: "By the way, that one quality you obsess over? I'm doing it better."
I think it's just because I took her character at first as more innocent and unaware than she really is. Really fits in with the "not so above it all" theme that permeates all the characters.
